About Hazel

Hazel is simply a lover of words and stories, overflowing with made-up worlds, scenarios, and characters. Ever since she was just a small girl, climbing out of her bedroom window to read on the roof under the stars with her trusted book light in hand (sorry, Mom), she has been enchanted by stories and the art of storytelling. 

Hazel lives in Texas with her equally nerdy husband, her fluffy dog-child, and the two sweetest cats a pet mom could hope for. Aside from writing and consuming far-too-much caffeine, she enjoys playing sports, watching anime, training exhaustively to become a fierce competitor in the rigorous art of trivia, spending time with her family, and discussing books with her bookish besties.
